On October 24, 2013, Operations Manager for 1421 Wines, Ashley Gao, was invited by the Wan Quan He METRO Store in Beijing to provide Customer Wine Training in the store's kitchen training center.  Organized by the store's Chef, Ashley spoke for more than an hour about the history of wine in China, China's wine growing regions, and why Xinjiang was chosen as the region to produce 1421 wines.  She discussed the climate and terrior and described the process by which 1421 wines became the first wines traceable to International Standards for food safety and quality, making 1421 wines "The First Traceable Chinese Wine in the World".  Finally, she moved to the practical ways to enjoy wine, such as how to look at the wine, smell the wine, and taste the wine.  In doing so, she served more than 30 customer guests our 1421 Admiral's Reserve Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.  Customer reaction to this class was enthusiastic and we expect to be doing more of them in the future.
