1421 Scotch Single Malt Whisky

Taste: Fruity with soft fruit notes of pear and banana- some light caramel notes with vanilla notes

 

Nose: fresh pear and red apple notes with cereal and toasted oak

 

Finish: a medium finish with a hint of peat smoke and some fresh citrus notes

1421 Scotch Blended Whisky

Taste: Fruity- manly soft fruits such as pear and peach with come caramel notes

 

Nose: Fruity and sweet with some cereal notes( malted barley) and a little smoke

 

Finish: balanced with a long sustainable finish

 1421 Classic Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine

The Cab Sav was very good too; more akin to a European style than new world, more like a mid weight Bordeaux.

 

Displaying a lovely translucent red colour with an intense lifted blackberry fruits dominate the bouquet with integrated cigar box, cedar and varietal leafy nuances. The palate is medium to full with ripe red and blackberry mix fruit flavours complemented with some earthy notes which are framed by fine tannins and some integrated vanilla oak, adding further richness and complexity to the wine. This is a classic "Bordeaux" style Cabernet Sauvignon, not being too heavy but balanced with persistent acidity and varietal character.

1421 Classic  Chardonnay White Wine

Bloody hell mate... Were we pleasantly surprised. Your Chardonnay rocks! Good balance between the elements.

 

Pale yellow in colour, the wine is showing lifted stone and citrus fruit along with some buttery and nutty aromatic nuances. There are aromas of roasted nuts, slight match strike and a hint of vanilla oak covering up the fruit. The aroma is truly varietal. The palate shows white peach, some melon and grapefruit mingling with buttery hazelnuts. This is wrapped in a creamy texture that is dry with crisp but gentle, firm acid at the finish. An elegant wine with balance and finesse that has the potential to age and develop further complexity in the bottle.

 

An excellent example of a new world chardonnay with "European" finesse and balance. A joy to drink.

1421经典系列赤霞珠干红葡萄酒

酒液呈优美的半透明的红色，浓烈的黑莓香占据酒香的大部分，伴着雪茄，雪松的叶香使酒香更加饱满。味觉上逐渐充斥着浓郁的黑莓混和着果香味，骨架结实，厚实凝重。这是经典的“波尔多”风格的红葡萄酒所具有的特质，酒体清爽、酸度适中且平衡。

 

1421经典系列干白葡萄酒

酒液呈浅黄色，味道芳醇，柑橘同坚果一起呈现出微妙的芬芳。烤坚果的香气瞬间在口中散发伴着些微的香草香掩盖住果香。香气变化。味觉上开始呈现出桃子，瓜和柚子和榛实混合的味道。带着乳酪般的丝滑却又清爽温和，余香醇厚。口感调和，若保存一定时间可使其愈加醇厚。

1421 Barbera Red Wine

Selected Barbera grapes were chosen to create this superior and elegant wine. Aging for one year in wood barrels adds class and body. Soft tannin mixes well with all type of food and drink on its own. Serve at 16-19ºC.

1421 Semi Sweet Moscato White Wine

Bursting with floral and citrus aromas, this low alcohol sweet wine, expresses flavours of peach and honey on the palate with a healthy dose of crisp acidity to balance the sweetness. Excellent for drink on its own and suitable for Chinese foods. Serve at 6-8ºC.

The grapes are then fermented in a tub and aged for 6 to 8 months in a tub. With a bright light of gold, lemon, lime and mango, with a light mineral and cream, an acid-balanced, energetic wine, a net of ice and a variety of Chinese food.
